Belmagistralavtotrans OJSC arranges the following types of insurance:
 
1. Mandatory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners: internal insurance contract and "Green card" insurance contract.
 
The object of such type of insurance are material interests related to civil liability of vehicle owners for the damage caused to life or health of individuals, their property of the property of legal enti-ties in the result of road accidents.
 
Internal insurance contract is concluded with the owner who is resident or non-resident of the Republic of Belarus, temporary residing in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, for all vehicles used in road traffic in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
 
"Green card" insurance contract in concluded with the owner of the vehicle registered in the Republic of Belarus who is driving outside the country to use the vehicle in the road traffic of the coun-try which is a member of Green card system, and with the owner of the vehicle registered in the country which is not a member of Green card system with the authorized body of which the Belarusian bureau concluded the agreement on mandatory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners.
 
2. Insurance from sudden illnesses and accidents during trips abroad.
 
The insured accident under this type of insurance are the following events:
 
  • health disorder of the insured due to sudden illness or accident during the trip abroad;
  • death of the insured due to sudden illness or accident during the trip abroad.
 
The accident is deemed sudden, unforeseeable and unintentional external impact on the health of the insured which occurred in the period of validity of the insurance contract, accompanying by inju-ries, wounds, permanent injuries or other damages to health resulting in health disorders or death of the insured.
 
Sudden illness is deemed sudden deterioration of health of the insured during the trip abroad in the period of validity of the insurance contract, requiring urgent medical aid (based on medical indica-tions until return of the insured to the country of permanent resident) if absence of urgent medical inter-vention may lead to serious damage to functions of the body including any organ or threat to life of the insured.
